Description

The Lewitt LCT 540S is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone with an extremely low self-noise level that it dips below the human auditory level of 0 dB SPL, which is why it’s also known as the Subzero. In fact, in order to continue to develop products with a self-noise level this low, Lewitt even had to design their own measuring equipment. The LCT 540S is suitable for voices and instruments with a wide dynamic range. It has the ability to capture even the softest notes with great precision. To ensure the louder notes don’t cause unwanted distortion or clipping, the LCT 540S features an attenuation pad that decreases the signal in two steps. There’s also a built-in low-cut filter to filter excess low tones out of the signal.
