Description
The Frontier Design Sierra is a MIDI and SMPTE expander for the Dakota PCI audio card, adding eight MIDI inputs and eight MIDI outputs, plus dedicated SMPTE I/O on 1/4″ jacks. It enables hardware-based chase-lock synchronisation without burdening the CPU or sacrificing audio channels, and comes housed in a 1U 19″ rackmount chassis with a connecting cable included.
